Today was my first long run using the Nike Run Club app. It was for 35 minutes at a moderate pace. I was able to do 3.25 miles. That is a 10’48” average pace. I was breathing heavy but not worn out or felt I had to stop. I noticed that the app changed my training for next week after this run was in the books. It originally had only one long run next week but now it has two. Another 35 minute run and a 6.5 mile run. I’m glad I went with this app for my half-marathon training because of it’s ability to see how I’m doing on a weekly basis and adjust accordingly. If I can keep this up then I’m pretty sure my goal of doing the half-marathon in under 3 hours will be doable.
