14 Sep Top 20 Best Zero Suit Samus Cosplay That Are Incredibe 2020
Metroid has been around since 1986. It’s been 24 years now, and one of the reasons why so many platform games are existing today is all thanks to the Metroid franchise, which spawned hundreds to thousands of many platformer games like Hollow Knight, Dead Cells, Castlevania (hence, metroidvania), Ori series, and many others.
The Zero Suit is one of the best-known suits that most people will think of when you talk about Metroid and Samus, and speaking of the Zero Suit, we’ll be looking at the Top 20 Best Zero Suit Samus Cosplay That Are Incredibly Amazing.
Shellechii’s cosplay is probably one of the spot-on Zero Suit Samus cosplays I’ve seen in a while. She portrays Samus’s action style, but I think one of the flaws in here is the contrast between the suit’s blue side patches that are almost identical in contrast with the light blue suit’s color. Overall, an excellent cosplay.
Amouranth has been known for cosplaying a lot of good characters that are mostly well-crafted and well-designed with good make-up and a few props. Her excellent portrayal of the Zero Suit can be observed here, as well as her perfect display and use of the Zero Suit’s true colors.
A more modern look of the Zero Suit Samus, Juliana’s cosplay is what you’ll expect from a modern cosplay with minimal budget. Overall, the looks are a total killer.
17. Jessica Raiden
Jessica’s portrayal of the Zero Suit doesn’t just come with her almost-perfect take on it, but it also comes with the Arm Cannon, which is Samus’ signature weapon.
16. Holly Wolf
I think Holly Wolf’s cosplay of Samus with the Zero Suit here is something that fits the bill for a “matured” version of Samus. I also would like to mention how she kept the ponytail with her, which I think is a nice touch. This feels like an old-style cosplay with the “dirty” look into it.
I think Anya’s cosplay would be described as an “alternate skin” to the standard Zero Suit. It also feels like it’s a D.Va skin, especially with the special locks and hairstyle.
Jennalyn’s cosplay is something too good to be Samus and too good not to be Zero Suit Samus. Her gun looks like a Dominator from the Psycho-pass series, but overall her costume is top-notch, and her looks are too elegant and glorious for a simple cosplay.
This can be best described as “when you have to kill Gerutas at 19:00, but you have a photoshoot at 18:00”. That’s it. That’s the kind of vibe I get from looking at this professionally-made cosplay. Her hair color reminds me a lot of Starfire, from the Teen Titans series.
12. Kathleen Salomão
I think it is one of the best cosplays I’ve ever seen. It’s incredibly outrageous how good this portrayal of Zero Suit Samus is and how accurate and dedicated the cosplayer to the suit’s color. This is actually pretty well-designed and well-made. Salute!
11. Sailor Rizzy
I think this one fits the bill for an alternate skin for Zero Suit Samus and her standard pistol with a different variant. For me, her hair stands out most due to her almost perfect similarity to the SSBU version.
This particular cosplay hits the spot for me simply because of the worn hairstyle, signifying Samus’ battle weariness and her Arm Cannon spices up the already “professional” bounty hunter look.
This one’s a bit more dark, as compared to the other skins here, signifying her Samus’ perilous journey throughout several planets. As a bounty hunter, this is a fitting suit to hunt both humans and monsters alike.
Kyrra’s display of Zero Suit Samus is not just any cosplay. I think a lot of people are overlooking Samus’ feminine beauty, but in here, she’s managed to give off both the alluring look and the “I’ll kill you twice if you cross me” vibe. Definitely worth checking out.
Katie’s concept of Zero Suit Samus is a bit more inspired by Star Trek more than Metroid. However, her portrayal here of Samus is nothing short of a great attempt at copying Samus’ poses before hunting out Space Pirates. I think it’s a good one.
Jess’s cosplay here is top-notch, using smoke effects to provide a decisive and dramatic effect on the top of her already beautiful display of full-body Zero Suit Samus.
Yet another powerful display of Samus’ assets and beautiful yet fierce look, which is even emphasized by the use of the Dance Evolution arcade platform behind her, which she often makes enemies do when she battles against them. The Arm Cannon’s a little different, but the cosplay isn’t, and I also think having a different skin for the weapon isn’t really a bad thing at all.
A bit more in the more dramatic and professional tone of the cosplay, featuring the smoke effects, the light and shadow contrast, and her elegant pose as Samus proves that Vivi is worthy of the Zero Suit, even if she’s not trying to provoke a fight.
Emma’s display of the Zero Suit is nothing more a professional take on Samus, and it’s incredibly natural. It’s surprising how well done this cosplay is, considering that not many cosplayers will be able to do the signature looking back and still be in a fine pose, which Samus does a lot. Emma here managed to capture that same kind of vibe effortlessly.
Yo, I love this pic. It doesn’t even have to be Zero Suit. I think Hazel has done a very good job here even though she’s not in her “active” mode of display of Samus’ fighting pose, her cosplay here is a total hotshot in my list of a well-done cosplay. For once, though, her killer look doesn’t even come here; she’s just there being Samus without the Space Pirates and all. I think the casual attempt here is really good.
1. Taya Miller
Okay, I don’t wanna be biased and all, but this one is the perfect cosplay of Samus to me. This is what I’ve imagined that she’s gonna look like if she’s an IRL character. I think Taya did a wonderful job here, especially the extra care for Samus’ hair, the correct color gradient of her suit, + her adorable look while being just regular Samus before heading to battle is something that I think, for me, made her my top candidate.
