With settings like the one in the Attack on Titan anime and manga, it can be a challenge to pin down a character’s exact age.
With no relatable lifestyles or places to judge them relatively (since no residents of the AoT world get to have a normal childhood…or adulthood…or human life), we rely on the content of the story and its writer, namely Isayama Hajime, the creator of the Shingeki no Kyojin manga (mangaka is the term if you’re curious).
The Attack on Titan anime cast occupies two main rough age groups; Mikasa Ackerman, Eren Yeager, Armin Arlert, Annie Leonhart, and their associates are the younger group.
While Levi Ackerman, Erwin Smith, and crew are the older of the two. Titan-fighting is all-ages fun for the whole family, it seems.
No one will convince me to like Armin.

How Old Is Levi?
In Attack on Titan, the Ackerman bloodline/clan was persecuted mercilessly. This left few options available to the surviving people with the surname.
In retrospect, such senseless squabbling in the face of the titan threat.
If we assume Levi Ackerman’s age is in the early 30s in the year 850, where much of the first season anime and manga plot kicks off (in Attack on Titan time), by 857 in the storyline, he could be pushing 40 years old, late 30s at least. Levi Ackerman is in his late 30s, early 40s.
What Is Levi’s Birthday?
The Ackerman matriarch and Underground city prostitute, Kuchel Ackerman, is Levi’s mother and Kenny’s sister.
She tragically met her end to a horrible disease, leaving young Levi alone to be raised by his uncle Kenny Ackerman. When would such an unlucky child-like Levi be born? Go on, guess.
That’s right, Levi’s birthday is December 25th. For all my Christians in the audience, that’s Christmas Day! The son of a prostitute born on Christmas. Poetic.
