We hope you enjoy trying them out! From new species of dino to enhanced building abilities, there’s no reason to limit yourself to the base game.
20. Ogi’s Paleo Edits
Paleontological accuracy may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it is appreciated by hardcore fans.
The Ogi’s Paleo Edits mod brings Jurassic World Evolution 2 into a new dimension of accuracy by introducing a variety of scientifically accurate skins for dinosaurs.
While keeping true to Frontier’s original designs, this mod tweaks the dinos to bring them more in line with what we know about them through the fossil record.
19. Complete Lux Pack
The Complete Lux Pack mod for Jurassic World Evolution 2 is a great way to add some flash and flair to your game.
With this mod, you can give every dinosaur in the game a unique look with flashy recolors. It’s just a cosmetic change, but it’s sure to make your park a neon light show that can be seen from space!
Imagine luminescent dinos roaming your park, glowing in the night!
The idea that something so ancient can be reanimated with all its original features still intact makes them extremely fascinating to us.
So why are glowing dinosaurs so cool? Because they leave us with a sense of wonder and amazement that just can’t be beaten!
18. Las Miragaia Longicollum
New species mods are the bread and butter of modding this game.
Miragaia longicollum is a long-necked stegosaurid dinosaur that lived during the Upper Jurassic period in Portugal.
The most distinguishing feature of Miragaia longicollum is its exceptionally long neck which is longer than any other known stegosaurian. Its body was also covered with plates and spikes for protection.
This mod adds the Miragaia longicollum to the game.
It was excavated near the village of Miragaia, and its remains were found in Upper Jurassic rocks in Portugal.
Overall, Miragaia longicollum is an incredible species with an impressive neck and a fascinating history.
17. Open Aviaries
Looking to reach the skies in Jurassic World Evolution 2?
Open Aviaries is the perfect choice.
This mod allows you to remove the terrain height limits within and around aviaries, so you can now build both above and below the boundary walls of an aviary.
Plus, it’s also added new Open-Air and Invisible Aviaries that can be used in Sandbox mode.
We love the amount of versatility and choice this mod adds, allowing you to fine-tune your park in a way the base game doesn’t let you.
16. New Species: Las Megalodon
Have you ever encountered the megalodon?
This immense ancient shark existed between 23 and 3.6 million years ago and was one of the largest creatures to dwell in Earth’s oceans.
Scientists believe it could have grown up to 18 meters long, much larger than any other shark alive today.
This mod lets players have megalodons in their very own parks!
Megalodon teeth have been found in Southern California, and they died out before homo sapiens existed. Each member of this species had up to 276 of these pearly chompers!
It’s incredible to think that such a large creature once roamed our oceans, and it’s sad that they are no longer around today.
15. Overgrowth
This mod allows players to paint foliage over buildings, paths, and fences, creating a wild and untamed look for the park facilities.
It also lets players remove foliage, paint, and dirt manually around areas they want to customize.
The combination of dense jungle-like vegetation and otherworldly dinosaurs creates a wild and untamed environment like no other.
As you explore the world of Jurassic World Evolution 2 with Overgrowth enabled, you’ll find yourself deep in the midst of a vibrant and dangerous wilderness.
14. Kai’s Wee Toolbox
Kai’s Wee Toolbox for Jurassic World Evolution 2 is a mod that adds a couple of neat features to the game.
It includes a Damage Tool menu for Sandbox Mode, which allows you to repair any building or heal any dinosaur/vehicle.
And in the other direction, you can apply damage to any building, dinosaur, or vehicle as you see fit.
There are plenty of reasons players would want to have this kind of toolbox on hand, from setting up sandbox scenarios to creating interesting and unique park environments.
13. Expanded Paths and Fences
This mod introduces brand-new paths, gates, and fences, among other features.
With this mod, players can create intricate pathways and enclosures for their dinosaurs.

Additionally, the mod allows players to build invisible fences for their dinosaurs.

With this mod installed, players have the ability to really explore the depths of their creativity as they construct their own unique design solutions without any limits.
11. Jtunnels

The mod includes a system that allows players to create an underground path between different buildings.
With these features, players can create an intricate network of travel options for their guests that will make their park top-tier.
10. Open Lagoons
Shake up the visuals of your favorite park with Open Lagoons!
Immerse yourself in a prehistoric paradise, complete with three new, beautiful lagoon varieties and freshly-minted editable terrain – perfect for welcoming all sorts of aquatic dinosaurs.
A lagoon is a tranquil paradise; its shallow waters are calm and inviting, with gentle waves lapping against the shoreline.
The sun reflects off the surface of the water, creating a shimmering effect that is both mesmerizing and peaceful.

8. Expanded Behavior
Real dinosaurs didn’t mill about in a predictable pattern. They certainly wouldn’t be simple display pieces like they seem in sim games like JWE2.
This mod brings the dinosaurs to life by introducing an entirely overhauled system for how they act, live, function, and more!
Far beyond a cosmetic change, it makes the game feel more dynamic and polished. Base game parks will never feel the same once you experience the Expanded Behavior difference.
7. Awesome Cobra Script Extender (Acse)
ACSE is the driving force behind many popular mods for Jurassic World Evolution 2, enabling them to run and exist as we know them.
Without ACSE’s capabilities, a great deal of exciting content simply would not be available – providing us with an invaluable launchpad from which to explore all sorts of creative additions to our pre-historic gaming adventures!
You might find this mod enlighting if you’re an aspiring modder yourself, too!
6. Expanded Parks
With Expanded Parks installed, you’ll be able to build out your very own Jurassic park without constraints – use the entire visible playable area in the game.
We love how this mod takes the fantasy of the game to the absolute max.
The parks in the movies took up their whole islands! Why should our parks be limited to a certain amount of land when there’s a whole gorgeous mass of land to develop?
Different maps offer different amounts of extra space with this mod, but all of them are more than doubled. One of our favorites is the Arizona map.
5. Terrain Tool
Take even more control over the land, your dinos, and more with this Terrain Tool mod that grants expanded functionality to the game’s existing management system.
You’ll be able to place rocks without constraints – ignore any warning signals and create your park anyway.
You also gain access to a greater intensity slider range as well as more radius/intensity segments.
Placement speed is adjustable, too; choose between faster or slower speeds depending on what best suits your needs while building out your dream park.
4. Gigantosaurus From Jurassic World Dominion
The Gigantosaurus is known for its massive size and powerful jaws, which can be heard roaring from miles away. Its intimidating presence makes it a formidable villain in any story.
It has become one of the most iconic dinosaurs from the Jurassic Park franchise.
This mod adds the impressive beast from the movie for use in your JWE2 park!
No matter how you choose to experience it, the Gigantosaurus from Jurassic World Dominion is sure to make an unforgettable impression!
3. Expanded Scenery
This huge mod, Expanded Scenery, is offering up an exciting proposition.
It adds over 700 unique plants to the in-game environment that can be customized and used to decorate your dinosaur park and animal enclosures.
Any player looking to personalize their park should give this mod a try – it could truly be the difference between enjoying a boring enclosure or admiring a creative masterpiece.
Furthermore, with the diverse array of plants available, you’ll never run out of ideas or get bored with the same ol’ scene.
Grab this mod and make your park one of a kind!
