Jujutsu Kaisen is a recent addition to this proud tradition of the genre, offering us Tokyo Jujutsu High (Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College) its and powerful sorcerers.
With headliner Yuji Itadori and supporting stars like Megumi Fushiguro, Maki Zenin, and our reason for the season, Gojo Satoru, Jujutsu Kaisen has an MHA-vibe with an occult cursed spirit twist.
High school is already trying for hard-working Japanese students; the pressure of mastering cursed techniques on top of calculus puts it over the top. (The real Prison Realm is high school, am I right?)

In real life, we don’t really consider our high school teachers to be real people; do they have ages? As it turns out, they do.
Satoru even has a confirmed birthday, which is more than we can say about other anime protagonists.
His age is confirmed in his character profile in Vol. 1 of the manga. Gojo Satoru is 28 years old. The story is set in 2018, the year the series debuted.
He’s on the younger side of high school teachers, but Tokyo Jujutsu High is not your average high school.
When Is Gojo Satoru’s Birthday?
There aren’t any birthday celebrations throughout the plot of Jujutsu Kaisen, but when things settle down, his students may want to get him some cake or a card.
According to the Official Fanbook, Gojo Satoru’s birthday is December 7, 1989. Satoru is a Sagittarius, so we know that he’s an optimist.
Presumably, he will turn 29 soon, but who’s to say if we’ll see it happen in-story. At least he doesn’t have to worry about greying hair, considering his starting point.

This makes him much taller than average and exceptionally tall for a country like Japan.
